Stållinjestans was founded in November 1958 by Stig Rönngard as a solo venture.
The aim was to manufacture cutting dies for the emerging cardboard and corrugated board industry. The company quickly gained the trust of its customers and grew slowly but steadily.
In December 1966, Stållinjestans had 7 employees and was restructured into a limited company. The packaging industry was boosted by the increasing number of supermarkets. Stållinjestans kept pace with this development and invested in new equipment over the years to be able to offer its customers first-class cutting dies.
In 1990, the second generation, Per-Olof Rönngard, joined the company.
In the same year, the first laser cutting machine was installed in Stallinjestans, which was able to produce both flat and rotary tools. This was an important decision for the company, which led to strong growth and enabled Stallinjestans to expand its success.
In December 1990 the company name was changed to Stållinjestans Laserform AB.
In 2003, Stållinjestans’ quality and environmental management systems were certified according to the standards SS-EN ISO 9001:2000 and SS-EN ISO 14001:1996.
